Puddlegram! By now you know that one of my favorite things to shoot after it rains are puddles. Puddles can open up a whole new world of beautiful pictures. I have to say that today’s shot is one of my favorite top 10 photos shot this year for sure. The rich blue sky, the single person walking into what appears to be infinite amount of sky, the American flag and the shape of the branches of the tree on the left side of the picture, reflected off a puddle just makes me love this photograph. View the full sized image at the end of my blog. This shot was taken at Battery Park.

Puddles can become complete mirrors when you shoot at a certain angle. A great tip for shooting puddles is to place your camera as close as possible to the puddle, if you have a water proof case then place part of your camera in the puddle if you dare. The closer it is to the puddle the less content you’ll have in between the reflection and section being reflected off the puddle. Give it a try! Feel free to share you shots!
